Peace Panel

During 2008, our Branch collaboratively made a “Peace Panel” that includes art, poetry and music composition.

The word “peace” has many meanings to different people all over the world. The National League of American Pen Women wanted to express in some significant way our different versions of what peace meant to each of us. Our panel from the Orlando-Winter Park Branch was represented by almost every member, showing in different ways what peace meant to us. We showed inspiring poems, pictures of doves, nature, coterie, peace candles, flowers and jewely. Every object had a purpose, clearly and simply identified. Every person felt a patriotic wave in expressing what she contributed.
