Maveh is both a musician and a writer - but most of all Maveh is a teacher. She is a retired public school music teacher (K-12). During her time as a teacher, she composed:

- Children's songs for the 'Read' Project
- The Children's Operetta: "The American Wonderful World of Work"
- The Children's Opera: "Katrinka and the Magic Shell"
- Choral composition: "American Suite"
- Several hundred children's songs to enhance their academic skills while experiencing the job of music.
- Vocal solos for church including "Twenty-Third Psalm," "Spirit Song," "My Prayer" (music only), "What is a Mother?"
- Choir anthem "December Lullaby" and others
- Piano Suites: "English Suite," "Florida Suite," "California Suite." Each suite consists of descriptive poetry for each of the six to nine compositions.
